Our Team
Marty trained at Indiana State University under the 1980 Olympic coach before transferring to the University of Massachusetts to pursue a degree in exercise science. In 2014 he was granted the title of Women’s National Coach by the U.S. Gymnastics Federation for having athletes qualify to multiple Junior Olympic National Championships, including JO National champions and a 2016 JO National Team member. Marty also has coached internationally in Puerto Rico, Canada, and in the United Kingdom as a Region 7 All Star Coach at the 2014 Alpha Factor Open is Melksham, England. In 2016, Marty again qualified an athlete to the Region 7 All Star Team. As a Region 7 All Star Coach, he traveled to Hamburg, Germany for the 2016 Turnkunst International, which featured 24 teams from 15 countries. The 2 USA All Star teams from Region 7 finished 1st and 2nd at this prestigious competition. In 2017, Marty traveled with the Region 7 All Star Team again to Lima, Peru, to coach at the Ariana Orrego Gymnastics Cup. His athlete placed 2nd All Around, and the USA Region 7 All Star Team placed 1st.
Marty Amrich
As an accomplished gymnast, Joe Stallone was a 2-time Junior Olympic National Event Champion with a 4th place all around finish. He was a Pennsylvania State All Around Champion, and also earned 48 PIAA medals in total including 15 gold. Joe continued his athletic success on a full athletic scholarship at Pennsylvania State University, where he was a 4 year letterman and was selected to the Senior National Honor Society. Joe was inducted into the Holy Name High School Sports Hall of Fame, and the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Berks County.
Joe is an 8-time Pennsylvania Men’s Gymnastics Coach of the year, and is a 16 time Coach of Over All Pennsylvania Gymnastics State Team Champions. He has coached 7 boys to National all around titles, 29 boys to Junior Olympic National Team and over 60 athletes to Athletic College Scholarships. Joe is an NCAA Honor Coach Award recipient, as well as a USA Gymnastics-Master of Sport, and received the Pennsylvania Gymnastics 35 Year Service Award. In 2019, Joe received the Pennsylvania Gymnastics Lifetime Achievement Award.
Joe has coached athletes to represent the United States at World Championships and Olympic Teams, including Olympic Alternate Elizabeth Price to 4 World Cup Uneven Bar Titles, and Margzetta Frasier to a World Cup Uneven Bar Title. Joe also has extensive international experience serving as Junior National Team Coach, coaching teams to 1st place international finishes in Ontario, Canada, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Cali, Columbia, Curitiba, Brazil, and Cottbus, Germany. He has also coached US teams competing in Berlin, Germany, and Kiev, Ukraine.
Joe has had the honor to be the 2022 Recipient of The Frank Cumiskey Service Award for his outstanding contribution to the USA Mens Development Program.
Joe Stallone
As an elite level gymnast, Gina was a 4 time National Team member and international competitor. Gina had the honor and privilege of representing the United States at the 1981 World Championships in Moscow. She also competed internationally in Australia, France, Germany and Holland.
Gina graduated from Wyomissing High School and was awarded a full Athletic Scholarship to The University of Florida. She is a member of The Berks County Chapter of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, a nationally ranked gymnastics judge and floor choreographer. Gina loves having the opportunity to encourage, motivate and mentor young gymnasts to be the best they can be in all aspects of life.
Gina Stallone Amrich
Christy Smith grew up in the Berks County area and graduated from Holy Name High School. She went to West Chester University where she received a B.S. in Kinesiology-Teacher's Certification and a Minor in Adapted Physical Education. She competed on the West Chester University Gymnastics Team and also coached gymnastics at a local club throughout her college years. During her Senior year, Christy devoted her time to starting the Chester County Special Olympics Team. Upon graduation, she taught health and physical education in the Avon Grove School District, then began coaching gymnastics full time.
Christy has been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years in Berks and Chester Counties and coaches everything from Tiny Tykes to Level 10 team gymnasts. She has coached many state, regional and national champions. She was also chosen as the PA Special Olympics Head Gymnastics Coach for 2006 National Games in Ames, Iowa.
Christy is very excited to have the opportunity to coach at Stallone Gymnastics where she continues to coach all levels of gymnastics including Special Olympics. Christy and her husband Chad are the proud parents of Jaden and Austin. In her free time she enjoys boating, spending time with her family, and watching her boys play baseball.

Isabella Amrich grew up loving the sport of gymnastics. She was a two-time Level 9 Eastern Championship Qualifier and Eastern beam medalist. She attended West Virginia University and was the manager for the Division 1 Gymnastics program. While being the manager she was able to get a degree in Sport and Exercise Science while minoring in child development and family studies. During this time, she also continued her love for gymnastics by working at their local club gymnastics team with athletes of all ages. Isabella has been working at Stallone Gymnastics since graduating and is a 7/8 rated gymnastics judge. She loves working with athletes of all ages and wants to help athletes grow their love for gymnastics.
Regan BG Jandrew grew up loving the sport of gymnastics. She started on her 5th birthday and hasn’t stopped since. She has lived in Berks County most of her life and graduated from Conrad Weiser high school. Now living just over the Lebanon County line. Married to her wonderful husband Chad for over 18 yrs and together they have two very active children. Lyle her son is very much into BMX biking and baseball and Xelia her daughter has followed in her mothers footsteps with gymnastics. She also loves to help other and do crafty things. Besides teaching gymnastics for over the past 25 yrs, she is also a message therapist and owns her own business. She loves helping her clients feel better and just relax. Gymnastics has always played a big role in Regan’s life. She is very proud of all the gymnasts that she has taught over the years and is now looking forward to all the new experiences and opportunities with Stallone Gymnastics.
Regan BG Jandrew
Casey has been an athlete all of her life, often competing in 4 sports year round. But in gymnastics, she found true happiness and a sport that made her better in all other sports and facets of life. She competed in D1 Collegiate Track and Field where the core principals of strength, balance, and discipline from gymnastics helped carry her through. Casey then went on to graduate from Kutztown University as a scholar athlete with an undergrad degree in Education and a concentration in Sports Psychology. She continued on to earn a Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature from Villanova University and kept chasing adventures all around the world.
She now has found home back in Berks County with her husband, 4 kiddos, and 2 pups. She develops and grades prompts across the U.S. for College Board exams and state level testing, and loves her time spent coaching kids in recreation and competitive gymnastics. Casey has been educating or coaching kids in various capacities for the last 20 years. The blessing of getting to guide young athletes on their individual paths through gymnastics and life continues to be her profound joy!

Matisen O’Brien
Jean began gymnastics at age 3 participating in both recreational and some competitive gymnastics as well. She graduated from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and then earned a Masters Degree from University of Delaware. Jean moved to Berks County after meeting husband Pat and currently lives in Shillington with Pat, son Shawn, and 3 dogs.
She is a Science Teacher at Lancaster Country Day School. Jean has been coaching gymnastics since 1996 and is also a National rated gymnastics judge. She has worked with all levels of gymnasts, but she particularly enjoys helping girls build solid foundations in the lower levels.
Jean NOECKER
Matisen was a 3 time Level 9 Eastern Championship Qualifier. She then went on to do Division 3 Collegiate Gymnastics at Ursinus College, where she got a Bachelor’s Degree in Heath and Exercise Physiology. She is now working on obtaining a Maters Degree in Digital Marketing from Lindenwood University’s online program. During her time at Ursinus College she started coaching at Stallone and has not stopped since. Matisen enjoys coaching as a way to stay involved in a sport she has always loved.
Suzy graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a B.S. in Mathematics. She worked for Prudential Insurance in their Calculations Division before moving to Berks County with her family. She later worked at the Spring Valley YMCA as a gymnastics instructor, and has also taught our Mighty Tykes classes at Stallone.
Suzy has been involved with the sport of gymnastics since 2003, when her oldest daughter took her very first Tots gymnastics class. Since then, all 4 of Suzy’s daughters have gone on to become competitive gymnasts, with the older 2 currently competing in NCAA Division I programs at University of Michigan and Lindenwood University, and the younger 2 as Level 10s at Stallone Gymnastics.
